Detroit, MI was crowned the Season 2 Grand Slam Champion of
 The Detroit Youth Monologue Slam!!

Genesis was coached by critically acclaimed Actor:  John Sloan III.  
John has a BFA in Musical Theatre from The University of Michigan and has over a decade of professional experience and regional credits including "Brutus" (JULIUS X), "Mereb" (AIDA) and
"Banzai" (u/s The Lion King National Tour) 
John is now the Reigning Champion Coach of The Detroit Youth Monologue Slam!!!

Zaria Smith

Our 1st Runner Up was 12 year old Zaria Smith of Southfield, MI. Coached by Indigo Colbert.

2016 DYMS 2nd Runner Up
Miranda Meadows

Our 2nd Runner Up was 17 year old Miranda Meadows of Northville, MI. Coached By John Sloan III.
