16 Year Old Nina White of Grosse Pointe Park, MI made history on
​August 23rd 2015, by becoming the First Grand Slam Champion of
 The Detroit Youth Monologue Slam!!

Nina was coached by critically acclaimed Actress Monica J. Palmer.  Monica has her MFA in Theatre from Cornell University and toured with Disney's The Lion King in both the National and International companies. Monica is now the Reigning Champion Coach of The Detroit Youth Monologue Slam!!!
